What a TikTok growth tool can and can't do
Most of your TikTok growth comes from the For You feed, and the For You feed rewards videos people watch. No tool changes that. Content still decides whether someone who finds you stays.
What a growth tool can do is the slow manual work creators already recommend: engaging with people in your niche every day. When you like someone's video, they get a notification with your name. Some of them tap through to your profile, and some of those follow. On TikTok this follow-back loop is weaker than on Instagram, so expect a few extra profile visits and followers over weeks, not a jump overnight.
There are four kinds of tools sold under this name:
| Type | What it does | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics and scheduling apps | Show your stats, plan posts | Useful, but they don't bring anyone new to your profile |
| Auto likers and followers | Engage other accounts for you | Pace decides whether they help or get you limited |
| Phone farms and cloud phones | Run many accounts on real or virtual phones | Built for farms, paid per device, often detected |
| Services that sell followers or views | Send likes, views or followers to your videos | Fake numbers that never watch, and against TikTok's rules |
TokGrow is the second kind.
What to check before you install one
- Does it follow and unfollow in bulk? Mass following is the fastest way to hit TikTok's limits, and people dislike receiving it.
- What does it do at the first warning? It should stop. Some tools keep going after "You're tapping too fast" or a captcha.
- Does it want your password? A browser extension works signed in as you. It never needs your password.
- Where does your data go? Some tools upload your follower list and every account you target to their servers.
- Is it really free? "Free trial, then pay" is the most common complaint about growth tools in store reviews and on Reddit, along with short trials and caps like 5 actions a session.
- Can you see what it did? "Says done, nothing happened" is another common complaint. You should see every like.
TokGrow is free, never asks for your password and stops at TikTok's first warning.
Add to Chrome, freeHow TokGrow works
TokGrow is our TikTok auto liker for Chrome.
- Name creators like you. Pick 2 or 3 accounts whose followers would enjoy your videos.
- TokGrow finds their followers. It skips private accounts, accounts under 300 or over 20,000 followers, and anyone it engaged in the last 30 days. You can change the filters.
- It likes 2 videos each. It can also favourite one. It never comments, sends messages or follows on its own.
- You follow back by hand. People worth following appear in a To follow list. You press Follow, one at a time, at least 20 seconds apart.
It works in a small TikTok window of its own while Chrome is open, between 08:00 and 22:00 by default, and closes that window when you press Stop. It doesn't run when your computer is off or asleep.
The pace
- 40 likes on day one, 10 more after each day with no warning, up to 150
- A light day at half pace every 7 days
- At most 3 likes a minute, at least 8 seconds apart, in batches with 2 to 10 minute breaks
- At TikTok's first warning, a captcha included, it's built to stop for the day and return 20% slower
TikTok doesn't allow automation, so no tool, TokGrow included, is risk-free. Keeping the pace low and stopping early is how TokGrow lowers the risk, not removes it.
The other two cards
- Track unfollowers. Once a day it compares your follower list and shows who left and who's new.
- Bot followers. It scores your followers on your computer, using signs like no profile photo, no videos and a very high following count. TikTok's website can't remove followers, so TokGrow gives you the list and opens each profile.
For brand-new accounts
New accounts can start with Warm up: 20 minutes a day for 7 days of watching niche videos with a few likes, before Grow takes over. See how to warm up a TikTok account.
Every feature is free, with no trial and no paid plan. Your lists stay on your computer. Add TokGrow to Chrome.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free TikTok growth tool?
Yes. TokGrow is free with every feature: no trial, no credits and no paid plan. The only thing it asks for is a review in the Chrome Web Store.
Will a TikTok growth tool get me banned?
It can, which is why the pace matters. TikTok's rules don't allow automation. Tools that follow in bulk or ignore warnings are the ones people report getting limited or banned with. If you'd rather not take any risk, do the same niche liking by hand. Our shadowban guide explains what tends to trigger limits.
How many followers will I get?
We don't promise a number, and nobody honestly can. Likes on someone's videos bring fewer follow-backs on TikTok than on Instagram. Expect results over weeks, and expect your videos to matter more than any tool.
Does TokGrow buy followers or views?
No. It never buys, swaps or sends followers, likes or views. It likes videos of real people who follow creators in your niche, and you see each one in the list.
Is TokGrow made by TikTok?
No. TokGrow is an independent extension and isn't affiliated with TikTok or ByteDance.
